Maison de Maitre - Roujan
Have you ever wanted
to stay in a French Village House with chandeliers and huge mirrors?
Now is your chance, as for the first time, we are offering our maison
de maitre for letting as holiday accommodation. The house will comfortably
sleep 10 people and you have shared use of our 30' private swimming pool
.
The house is only
a short distance from the village center, 3 minutes walk to a choice of
restaurants and bars and shops for your baguettes, cheeses, charcuterie,
and a choice of excellent local wine. The old central area, with narrow
cobbled streets has the true 'flavour of France' and more pictures can
be found on our European
website.
The House: Arranged
on 3 floors connected by a spiral staircase the accommodation comprises:
 Ground
Floor - Garage and shower room with utility area. Entrance hall, and reception
room with morning room.
Second floor - Main lounge, Dining Room, Secondary Lounge with a conservatory
off, leading to the veranda. Fully equipped kitchen / breakfast room with
doors to the veranda.
Third floor - 4 large bedrooms, (2 en-suite) of which 2 are double bedded,
1 is twin bedded and one with 3 beds, and a family bathroom.
At the rear a staircase from the veranda leads down towards a picturesque
enclosed cobbled courtyard (see picture above) , surrounded by buildings
of true french character.

Available for use: Garden furniture, barbeque, games, cool boxes and beach
chairs.A number of bikes are available for use at the renters own risk.
All bed linen and
towels (not swimming) are included, as is a basic cleaning charge for
end of week cleaning. (If the premises are not left in a suitable condition
for the next let a further charge is liable).

Garden
Cottages
If
you want more compact accommodation, for 4/6 people, to the rear of
our main property we have converted the old stables into 3 beautiful
Garden Cottages providing self contained accommodation with private
access and with shared access to our 30' swimming pool.
In France, this
style of accommodation is frequently called 'a gite'. This is a term
which can be applied to holiday accommodation in anything from a small
converted animal shelter on a remote farm to a castle on a hill top.
The gites are individually
furnished and equipped to the highest standard with washing machine,
dishwasher, TV and video. With fheating in each gite we can offer an
all year round rental.
